Dick and his wife, Sue, started the Junior Golf Program for kids 8 and over held at Chinook Winds Casino Resort Golf Course. In its 5th year, the program not only give kids 5 golf lessons but each participant is issued their own set of golf clubs, a golf bag, a golf shirt, golf balls and tees to take home with them. Dick believes golf is a lifetime sport and that kids need to have the equipment, just like a glove, bat and ball for baseball to learn the sport. Total cost for each golfer is $10. Sign ups will begin soon at the Pro Shop at Chinook Winds Golf Course. Watch for more information.
